Movement of thought and creation on Colombia and Latin America that creates spaces for inclusion through art expression, culture, and processes of symbolization, in a quest for political power and meanings of the word, criticism, the recognition of difference and practice of consensus, rather than politics as a homogenizer, polarizing and alienating exercise.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: Series of 'Conversatorios'

Body of Knowledge, together with Fort-Da and Salvage, constitute a
series of events in which we present different artists that appeal to
the body and to memory to reflect on issues of identity. By looking
at social oppressions and acknowledging the role of the other in the
construction of their own social and cultural body; by questioning
their limits, the absences and presences in their personal story; or
by salvaging the past and forging new encounters in a movement of
becoming where new opportunities of being may arise, these artists
use their body as an instrument: the body is the site of the passage
of time, the means to understand the experiences of others, and
the site where a creative movement is generated that looks for its
roots while engaging in new experiences.
